Try breakfast set at one of the cafe or kissaten. A popular is Good morning cafe that served a nice thick-toasted sliced bread shokupan set with eggs. You can ask your egg to be boiled or made to omelette. There is smoking corner even.
I bought its local roasted beans and a pack of drip coffee.
